or get torsion bars that lowere your car?  Then it will look even front to back.....

something about how they couldn't set the right camber with the torsion bars lowered...so if I mess with them, i mess up the alignment.  :rotz:

I had my ride height correct (or more precisely, where I wanted it) when it went in for an alignment and when I got it back it was sitting low on the left. Of course you're not supposed to mess with the ride height after an alignment but after about 10 days I couldn't take it anymore and readjusted it. In the meantime I told them they did not align my steering wheel which requires a specific procedure on Mopars. Mine is 90-degrees off. They told me at that point I need to take a hacksaw to my dead link and put the wheel where I wanted it. Red Flag! Called another reputable shop and they said the same thing. Red Flag! The "experts" don't know how to do it without using a hacksaw. Now I'm going to have to take the car on a 50-mile trip and meet a couple of Mopar restorers where I can get the car done right.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Love the color!  Love the wheels!

thanks. been toying with the idea of getting some steelies and having them painted FC7 to match the car...but used ones in the right specs (15x7, 15x8) are hard to come by and, since i roll on a budget, I dont wanna throw down $700+ for new ones from Vintiques or whoever makes the repros.

Nice! Are those Bassett wheels?

AERO...more or less the same thing, but the AEROs are the actual wheels used by NASCAR.

About $1300, including some minor body work and replacing the busted front bumper, filler panel, and grille with the less busted up parts id been gathering for a couple of years.

Definitely a "20/20" paint job. Conventional wisdom says i should have waited til i could do it "the right way", but i dont have $5-10k laying around - and if I did, id rather spend it on an engine rebuild/swap. I really hated the white and the messed up front end. Im definitely happy w the result, given what it cost and all that.

Ok, serious question...

I know its not year correct (not that I care, but still), im thinking about getting the big "PLYMOUTH" decals for the rear quarters, in flat black.

What do you guys think? Nice touch or itll be "too busy"?

Basically what you see on Superbirds and some late 60's NASCAR racers

I revisit this thread once in a while just to reread Ponch's "bull was right" quote. ;D

Troy

I must have missed this while I was out of the country...

Looks great! At least with the cheap paint you can drive the heck out of it and just do it again if anything happens.

I'd skip the decals too.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.
