looks almost like the roof off a 2gen has been grafted onto the later body,  that would explain the line on the A pillar stopping where the graft is .think they would have continued it or got ride of it alltogether

Well, I tried googling up conversation of a new Challenger to a Classic Charger. The only thing that comes up close is the new Challenger done like the Daytona.  :scratchchin:    :shruggy:

Well you can't do better than your best.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

I'm no expert, but all the Photoshop arguments make sense to me.

Too bad, because this is a car I would own in a second.   :drool5:

Good, because I'd run out and spend money on something I don't really need, but certainly want.   :slap:

DAY CLONA

I'll try to post these pics of the car (as this site sucks for pic posting)....the car is real

Wow, pretty cool! Granted too many decals and emblems for my taste but it looks well done, my only gripe is why use a 70 grille and bumper and make a recreation of a 68 Charger? I wonder what magazine that was featured in?
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

I wonder what magazine that was featured in?

What makes you think it was in a magazine? If its the pic showing the construction of the car that looks like a magazine page, it's actually a photo of the show display board the owner must have made up.

I found the pictures on Facebook.

Impressive. Pretty funny too, with all of the armchair photoshop "experts" on the board here.

That was going to be an optional stripe on the '71s.
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

This is a great thread if your drunk.  :icon_smile_cool:

First the shock that something like this may have been done.

Then all the comments if it's a Photoshop picture.

Opinions, opinions, opinions.

Then reality and shock.

LOVE IT.  :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Kudos to the builder.

Only item I "questioned" was the disappearing line in the A-pillar, but also stated it could be part of the door mirror. Never said a word about reflections, wacky scoops, etc.
Now I know why the line is there because of the basis vehicle: '06 Chrysler 300 which has full frame doors. He must have cut the door frame right above the mirror.

Excellent execution, much better than some other interpretations that have been posted. Impressive craftsmanship.  :2thumbs:
This is an internet forum, opinions are inevitable.  :eek2:

Colour of the interior trim and the graphics aside, this is the best modern take on a 2nd gen that I have seen yet.

Well done from what the pics show. I would love to see it in person!
