Holley Swap... how do I tune for max performance?

I recently did a carb swap for my Charger. I put on a Holley 750 (dual fuel line) with electric choke and vacuum secondary. MUCH happier with the drivability and smoothness. I'm missing the "punch" of the old Eddy---I seemed to have had a little more off the line and chirp them in second with my AT.

I put the carb on the car with ZERO modifications. I have a 400 (NOM), electronic ignition, Eddy performer intake, headers

Anthing I can do to adjust the carb for more punch?
Where do I adjust the Auto Trans kick down on the throttle linkage for best performance? I get a shift down but it feels soft-not the snap like the old.
Will I need to adjust the timing any?
Will I need to adjust the accelerator pump any? If so, how?
The site window for the fuel bowl has the fuel about 1/3 of the way up the glass.

Anything is apprecited!

set the float height 1/2 way up the window , Idle speed & mixture .
then check the vacuum at idle in gear , if you have 6" of vacuum at idle you need a 4.5 powervalve , you want to be an inch or so under the reading you get . The accelerator pump needs to be adjusted so there is no slack in the linkage , the cam controls the volume of fuel each time the throttle is opened , the squirter controls the speed that the fuel enters , you may be getting to  much or too little fuel making the response soft , if the linkage is loose it will cause an off idle stumble .
The kickdown linkage should be adjusted so it goes all the way back @ WOT , if it shift too hard shorten the linkage slightly

any way you can put it on a chassis dyno? they can check the air fuel ratio for you. you might be alittle rich. you can also mess with the timing. doing this, you can eek out the most performance your combo has. it is some of the best money you will spend.. :Twocents:

Extended squirters was the single most important thing I did on my set up..
