It will no doubt bring good money there too.

Hopefully there are a lot of educated buyers with this one.  :rotz:

There won't be.  B-J in January is a big circus fueled by ego and alcohol, someone will stick their hand up too much.

Homerr

They'll just have to remember to take these out before it goes on the block.

We tried warning people but nobody wants to listen.  There is too much money involved.  It's a shame but when you are willing to fork over 6 figures for a car and you don't do your homework then so be it, don't come crying.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Ghoste

I also have a feeling that after January we will hear of this car again.

Maybe the new owner will become a member here.  Maybe he or she will not be ripped apart for buying that turd and maybe he or she will be given all the advice needed to fix the car.  Maybe pigs fly...   :nana:

I did manage to get a message through to BJ.  We'll have to see if it stays on the docket or if it gets pulled :popcrn:

It's been over a year now since Sandy.  The BJ site says the car was restored but they likely mean before the 'incident'.  I wonder what the inside of the car looks like.   :scratchchin:

I thought it had received some "love" after the drowning?

6spd68

Either way, I doubt it'll get pulled from auction.  Auctioneers care about money at the end of the day.

They do have to watch out for their credibility though.  They've pulled cars before that wasn't as it was advertised

Ghoste

I'm still betting it doesn't get pulled.

JB400

I bet it stays in too. Unfortunately

My boss has bought his fair share of BJ doozies. My two favorites were the 69 Camaro that did not start and everyone assumed it had a dead battery. No problem. Ship it back to North Carolina. We'll take care of it when it gets home.  How can you sell a car with no harness under the dash? The second one was a mid 60's Corvette convertible. They put it up on the lift with the passenger door open and notice it would not close..... BY A LOT........ Someone had bondoed the frame rail where it was completely rusted out and painted it nicely but unfortunately bondo isn't very good at supporting the weight of a car and the frame had collapsed where the lift pad was.

Old style horse trading at its finest.

Indygenerallee

Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

I thought BJ was about high class cars in near excellent condition?  If thats the case I plan to put my car up for auction in scottsdale also then and see what I can fetch!!!!

Said it befre, and I'll say it again.....it's all about the Benjamin's....
