a lot of local auto part stores have heater hoses hanging on the walls, go find one that is close to what you are needing..you may have to cut off some that you will not need because it's too long....all you need is the 5/8" "U" shaped part.....

Yes I was heading that way. But as well as cheep I am lazy. If some one else has done all the hard work to figure that out then I want to know that. I will let you know the outcome of my trip.
Thanks Guys

You need to account for travel expenses :whistling:

Ok
My Wife is a great cook dinners on me. While were at it, I need the head liner put in as well, and the front and rear windows. Don't worry I can put in the carpet seats and consol.

How about something like this?

http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/GATT/28511/06515.oap?year=1988&make=Ford&model=Bronco&vi=1105917&ck=Search_heater+hose+shaping+coil_1105917_-1&keyword=heater+hose+shaping+coil

If not, they should allow you to walk back there and pick out more like what your looking for, especially if you made friends with the auto parts guys.

I though about that But I think it will look bad. I have to be able to cut the right size U out of some molded hose. $30 from YO is not a show stopper either. I was just hoping for "OH buy NAPA PNxxxx and cut off 3 inches".
Thanks

How about a stainless steel hose?  Not cheap per say, but at least it'd look alright and you could bend it to the shape you need.  I'm out of options.  The major auto suppliers don't show anything on their websites.

I ended up making a U from regular hose. Its OK for now. My priority is getting it back together and running. I can worry about the details later

I made one with two 90 degree elbows and some small hose clamps. Total cost $8.00. Don't look as nice as the YO hose but it works perfect. I know it's been a year since this post but better late than never.
