I grew up reading the then revised 80's Superman comic books and enjoyed the first two Superman movies with Christopher Reeve (and the third to a point), but for the most part (as with most of these superhero screen adaptations) they are disappointments.  I thought Smallville was pretty horrible and that last Superman movie was absolutely terrible.

I don't have very high hopes for this one and I certainly don't care for the suit but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we will finally see a decent Superman flick again.

I don't care too much for the suit either.  Can't beat the original.  It took me a while before I watched the last movie.  I probably won't get in too big of a hurry to watch this one either.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVu3gS7iJu4

Looks like they're doing Iron Man 3  and another Wolverine movie :popcrn:

Awww why do they have to do the origin story again and again?  Is there anyone on this rock that doesn't know the story by now?

I think I am one of the few who kinda liked the last Superman movie.

I am hoping this one is good.  They are already talking a Justice League movie, however I am guessing it all depends on how well this one does.

Superman, Iron Man III, Spiderman II, Wolverine, this will be a year for super hero movies.

The last movie was alright, but too predictable.  It stayed in touch with the older movies, but I would have liked to have seen another villian.  The last one was sort of a continuation of the first one as far as Luthers' plan for being a real estate mogul.

I'm ready to see new villians and new plots, not redos of the same movie.  70+ years of comics and they redo the same thing over and over.  Where's the imagination? :shruggy:  Or is Hollywood to chicken to try something different?

Hollywood isn't about being chicken or not, it's about selling movie tickets and action figures.    You don't get that by being avant garde with a proven formula.

The one and only True Superman.  He definitely set the benchmark high about like Connery did with Bond.

Yea..nobody will be a better Bond than Connery, in my mind anyway
