Looking for advice on a Tach question and car assesments

Hi guys

My 71 R/T is almost done I'm looking to do some final hurdles. 1: I want to install a decent Tach, something like the Autometer Phantom series but as with all 3rd generation cars its hard to find sizes and locations for these accessories! So I wondering what and how you guys installed yours? 2: I want to have the car proper assessment done for insurance etc. where would I get something like that done?
