I am thinking of selling my 70 Charger.
It is a triple black car   no rust
it has a 413 with a 6 pack intake setup
4 speed
it is a R/T clone.
what kind of price should I be able to get

Thanks

Matt

Condition is everything. Obviously not an original motor/carb. Pictures would help.

one million dollars. ;D

He is right though, you do not even state what kind of condition the car is in which obviously makes a huge difference.

The 413 is kind of an oddball where the 440 would help for value.  Since it is a clone I will assume it was a small block automatic originally. Without further info I will say 15-20K for a nicely done car. Maybe more if you give better info.

2005 Ram 2500 4x4 Big Horn Cummins Diesel 6 speed
2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.7 Hemi

No offense but it's not a clone if it's got a 413.

Here is a pic of the Charger I am thinking about selling!

The guy I bought it off of put the 413 Big Block in it, But I have a 440 block not sure of the year, and a extra 1970 hood I am willing to sell with it.

nh_mopar_fan

There was a 413 Charger that went on ebay not too long ago.

same car?

rtman99

Nope, this is a different car!

Blown70

Well is it a HAVE to sell then you are going to be pinched.

I say ask 20,000.  I happen to think if it is not a bondo buggie, which it dones not appear to be.  It will sell.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Looks like a pretty nice car. :2thumbs:

I guess your not Ebaying the car, I would if it where me, an auction like Ebay is  likely to get you the most $. My Reserve would be $13500 and I think your car shouldn't have any trouble reaching that mark. Get some center caps for those rims ASAP as the cap less look is unappealing.

13.5K reserve?

Greenpigs did you see the car he's selling?   I guarantee he'd get close to 30k for that on egag.

He prolly has 13.5K into the paint/ bodywork...........aim high dude, aim high!!

I agree that you need center caps right away.  It was the first thing I noticed when I looked at the pic.  I think I would shoot alot higher than 13.5K for a reserve, my guess (but obviously it is just my opinion) would be closer to the 20K range.

greenpigs

Yes I saw the car and it was just the reserve, not a buy it now price. The cars condition ensures it will go for some big money and setting the reserve or a higher starting price could possible lower the final amount. From what I have seen going with a lower starting bid is the way to sell on Ebay as the car takes care of the rest.
I guess the reserve is a little low but like I said that shouldn't matter, however it did give you an excuse to pick at me 6T9_CHGR....

I realized you posted a reserve and not a buy it now.  I simply disagreed with your reserve amount.   I didnt think he should sell the car short is all.   Its worth way more than that and I agree Im sure it will exceed that reserve......thats all

An excuse to "pick at you"?  Why because I disagreed with your statement?

I didnt see it as a pick :shruggy: ....... :pity:
Chris' '69 Charger R/T

Big Lebowski

Put a Hemi in it since it's a clone. Then the Barrett/Jackson folks with huge amounts of stupid money will be all over it.
It should get at least 25-30k on ebay the way it is.
"Let me explain something to you, um i am not Mr. Lebowski, you're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the dude, so that's what you call me. That or his dudeness, or duder, or you know, el duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing."

bksfld68

Judging from the prices I have been seeing lately, if the interior is as nice as the outside looks, I agree, 25-30k+.

rare69

if the car looks as nice in person as is does in the picture, i would stick the 440 you have in it throw some center caps on it and ask $40,000,00.
that is a very nice looking clone! you should have no problem getting 35,000,00 - $40,000,00 for it.

Ghoste

That's what I think too.  440 for forty thousand should be your motto.

BigBlockSam

ok , calm the f down. you aint gettin $ 40000 for a r/t clone with a 413? not even with a 440. that money is reserved for real  r/t 's that are correct. i thick you have a nice car and might be able to get aroung $20000 for the car. in our market now. matching #'s and paper work is what brings the big bucks.
