find out WHY the rod bent first

The history begins when an onlooker asks me to show him the engine, that in Argentina there were many cars as mine and that it understands much of these engines, later, in the carburetor He gives a sudden acceleration and insane high rewinds  :flame: :flame: :flame:, from this moment noise in the valvetrain.

over reving the engine is not a good thing and you likely floated the valve and let the push rod come unseated and bent it.stronger valve springs can reduce the risk but is not a cure.I dont think a heat treated push rod is needed untel you go more than a .528 lift cam or plan to rev the engine past 6800 rpm all the time. That info is the basics of what you are asking I think.
