Ah man I saw a TV show about hte buildup on that thing. Every time they chose something "special" or "custom" for it I was like ahhh noo!!

Seriously though, that thing looks like complete crap. Yuck.

Nice pics!  I love that car.  I like it even better after they added the black to the rims.

THE COLONEL

The paint job is awesome, but I like the traditional look myself.  The Extreame Lee is too busy for me.

Hmmm, one would think that before someone said a car looked like "complete crap" they'd check to see if the owner was around - I'm sure KWS appreciates your opinion though. He has (had) a "correct" GL as well and wanted something different - which he accomplished. It's a unique car that's easily recognizable. In the end, the only person whose opinion really matters is the owner. I want a slightly modifed car but I'll also have a restored car as well and I'm sure both will draw their share of complaints. I won't care - I'll just smile and enjoy them.

I see that KWS is online now, maybe he should post some more cool pics of the car.

I agree :rotz:

I think that the XL is awesome.

With all of the chargers on this board, how many of them are stock colors, with stock interiors and stock rims, etc?

Seriously, Why can we modify any ol' chargers with SB/BB swaps, color changes, strip vinyl tops, disc brake conversions, etc.,  but not change the numbers on an orange one????

BTW, I do agree with 4402tuff4u.  ".....get off the Charger!!"  :icon_smile_big:

I disagree!

That car is fan-friggin'-tastic! I love the ideas used on the car, especially the tattered flag & numbers. The 'Fender wood' treatment on the console is cool too. To me, the car is a refreshing change from the norm that's well thought out & definitely stands apart from the crowd.

The look of the car, combined with the fuel injected big block under the hood is the makin's of...
              REAL WOOD! :D

                 SHA-WINGGG!! ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Come on now, it's just paint and wheels. ::) It's not like he cut the car up and changed all the body lines :yesnod: I think it's a work of art and commands respect. :yesnod:  I've thought about making my car into my own Lee but my son (9 years old) wants the real deal............Chuck.................

Exactly right Troy.
I was never much of a GL fan myself, but the Extreme Lee Charger took it up a few notches!  Nice job KWS.   :2thumbs:

I like it, but to me the 01 is a little too different from the original.

It is a matter of taste & as the Toy man stated he is doing his Chargers the way he wants them and ta hell with what others think.
I am not making my Charger a correct by the number resto because the original combo doesn't work for me. When you  sacrifice to make YOUR dream come true the important thing is personal satisfaction not group appeal.

ahh love it :icon_smile_big: something a lil bit different..some blackouts awn those vectors would set them off :icon_smile_big:

Perhaps I didn't think myself through before I commented on the car.

No, I don't like it. The whole look of the car doesn't really appeal to me at all, espeically the wheels and the "XTREME" part. However, like was said, it's just wheels and paint. That doesn't mean that I can say it looks like complete crap. When you look past personal preferences, the car is great. The paint job, interior, and many other things about it are absolutly fantastic. It looks better than anything I could do and many that I have seen, so I subtract my immature remark and in place of it add an apology.

That's ok terrible one, it's your opinion - you just never know who might be hanging around. :icon_smile_wink: I think I've actually done that at shows... :-X

By the way, if anyone wants to see this thing a little more closely there's some bigger pics in this thread:

Did they end up blacking out the rims? Awesome!! That was my only crticism of Extreme Lee. I had no issue with the big wheels, they just needed the black. Got any pics with the blackouts? As far as the other mods, more power to him. If it makes it more comfortable/safe/fun to drive, I say do it. I'm kind of leaning that way with my own GL, though I prefer mine with traditional graphics.

As for "get off the Charger"... well...it is his to sit on, but I bet if he had spents weeks blocksanding it he may think twice ;)    Al

Thanks Troy. I did end up looking at them after I posted. The black does make all the difference. Sweet ride!!!!
