I'm sorry, they had reserves. (edit: AT car sold for $112K after the auction).  I didn't see any mention of reserves until after the sale. Auctioneers can sell any way they wish, but they should post their minimum and not waste the bidder's time. People normally go to auctions to save money, not to set a new record.

Absolute auctions are the Real World, what cars like these are worth on 7/18/2020 in the middle of nowhere. They might have been promoted better, but I assume the cars found their way to every wing car forum on the web.
