Ive got one of the F/E caps along with two S caps.
Could someone let me know about the S caps? They are in pristine condition unlike the F/E cap.
wingless now, but still around.

The F/E stood for the manufacturer: Fuller-Emerson.

Damn every beat me to the Full / Empty remark. :icon_smile_dissapprove:
But I'll add to it by saying make sure you put it on the right way or else you'll be out of gas, :smilielol:

So F/E was the manufacturer? Really?
Didn't know that.
I thought it was F for firewall and E for Engine compartment, as to which way the cap should go on.   But I guess it's designed to go one in either 180 degree position...

Almost positive S is for Stant.
