Bullitt!

We drove my son Mustang home to day after 2 ½ year restoration so I took a few picture with my Charger which will I will start the restoration next fall.
















Sorry if anyone was offended with a Mustang on this forum but I think a Bullitt clone with a Black 68 Charger is the exception.

always wanted to do that with my Dad, even though i remember his 69 RR, he has always prefered his 67 stang, and i guess i could "put up with" a 68 440 charger...........................

When Kurt my son decided he would like to build a Bullitt replica and we found a driver 68 Mustang I started looking for another 68 Charger so we would have the pair. It took over two years to find a good body Charger to start with. Next fall I'll start the resto of a modern Bullitt Charger.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, I know I love working with my youngest son building it. Now I'm trying to talk my oldest into building a car together when he graduates college this year.

I hope your son will want to build a car with you.  Me, I helped build an airplane with my grandpa.  Best thing I ever done.  Sure, I missed out doing other things people my age were doing, but I had fun, and still have the memories.
