is a dana 60 yoke on the rear end the same exact yoke on a 8 3/4? Or is it special to dana only?

One for Dana 60 and one for 8 3/4, they are both 29 splines but not the same.

hi. ok. So is there any car or truck out in the junk yards that its the same i can get it off of? thanks

maxwellwedge

Someone is making a new one with the U-bolt fastening style. Maybe Mancini has them? Easier new than to try and get one off at a wrecking yard.

theres a mid 70's ford truck in the yard with a dana 60. would that yolk work for my mopar? thanks

John_Kunkel

A Ford truck would most likely have the Spicer style u-joint...Mopar uses the Detroit style u-joint.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I buy new yokes at a local business that deals in drivetrain stuff for big trucks. I bought a D60, 7290 yoke a few years ago for around $50 brand new.
