"PJ/CCT standard schools are Airborne, SERE, SF Dive course, and HALO - most also go through Army Ranger school.  If those don't look good on a resume I dont know what does."

I got my jump wings and scuba.  It's a blast, but those things never helped me land a civilian job. Just have fun.

Congratulations. 

I tried the Air Force, but during my physical they taped me and said I was too fat.  I think the lady did it wrong myself, so joined the Army National Guard instead. Your should like the Air Force.  From everything I heard boot camp is the easiest and they have the best food.

I was in the AF around 1981, basic training was like being at a resort. They will feed you really well, I gained 50 lbs before I left training.

Our once a month weekend in the Guard they would feed us MRE's.  Out at the local Air Guard base they have a full working restaurant with a real Chef.  For their Saturday lunch they get Chicken Parmesan, a side of pasta and chocolate cake. We are getting a Veggie Omelet out of a cardboard box.

This is true - sub duty gets the best food...   pretty much any AFB food is a close second....     

Dude - stay away from the Veggie omelet (aka. gut bomb) - my buddy made the mistake of eating one of those semi-rubber laxitives right before a mission over in Afghanistan...    he did not have a pleasant day.

Thank you. I was never in. My father was Navy for 4 years in Korea and USAF for 17 years including Vietnam. I had enough of it as a air force brat. It is a good thing to do for your country and will make a strong man out of you. Thank you again and God bless you.
