Ok the subject says it all...I have kinda started a registry for the 71-74 Chargers. what im trying to do is kind of get a basic timeline to production dates within all 3 plants that our cars were built.

I have been collecting vins for the past year or so and have got a long list with dates.
Im asking if you guys would't mind helping me out alittle bit. all im asking for is the complete vin and the prod date if known. im not going to use the number for nothing else but document the dates with the vin.

if you would help just email them to me at Dakotasport94@hotmail.com

any questions or comments please post up...thanks...

It a personal Registry that is strickly for the 3rd Gen Chargers. Im doing it to track the Vin with the production date. I want to be able to fill in the approx production dates with ones that have no door sticker.

Here is the link to the one in the 71-74 boards.

I Am not using any of the Vins for any other reason. it only to be able to keep track of the cars and the SPD...thats it!!!   Now maybe at a later date I will post everything to a website for everyone to see. I havent gotten that far yet.

I'll vouch for HemiTom!  His is a bare necessities kind of info gathering - but it's a start :2thumbs:

I showed him what I had on 70 Chargers when I gave him all the 71-74 stuff I had.  Mine is a study
of door sticker changes within the 70 model year.  Not really of interest to the 71-74 crowd at all -
but a format that is easy to use.  I can only wish Tom the best!!!

I don't think so. I remember something about him having to sell his car and getting away from Mopars, Hopefully not. I did send him 2 of my vins to cars that were beyond repair and crushed.
