Anyone catch the article in the Hemmings Magazine on Wellbourne's collection?

We met him last year at Mopar Nationals and he inquired about buying my dad's '71 R/T six pack. Seemed like a very nice guy. I knew about his '71 collection didn't realize all the others he had as well(especially the Daytona and Birds).

I just saw an advertisement on TV for his cabinets also.

Did anyone else notice the TYPO on the front cover of the magazine? It says 69 HEMI Charger, and there isn't one 69 HEMI Charger in the magazine. The article is about a 68. How can a national publication let that slip.

I noticed that as well.... ::)

At first I thought I had missed the article, so I looked the whole magazine over 2 more times before thinking maybe they made a typo. I wouldn't figure Hemmings would let something like that slide past an editor.

I've been noticing a LOT of typos and outright factual errors in that magazine.  Between those and their endless auction propoganda, I've quit reading it.  I've noticed their editorials seem to show a lack of serious musclecar knowledge too but that could just be me.  They seem like a lot of Vette fans and late model Camaro/Firebird lovers to me.
Nice photos though.

Come to think of it I was looking for the '69 Hemi article when I got distracted by the Wellbourne article and forgot all about it.   :rotz:

Lighten up, every one makes mistakes, did you ever read the a large news paper like the Ny or LA times, they always have mistakes in them.

Ghoste

That's a pretty big mistake though.  It'd be the equivalent of the NY Times having a headline that reads "US goes to war in Iran" when they meant to say Iraq. Mistakes happen but covers should be quadruple checked.
