I've never seen one before. I'm sceptical but there isn't paint around the latches like it's been repainted so maybe it really is what he says it is.

There was also a 'bee' version.  Japanese knockoff from the 60s. Notice it's not trademarked by WB.
It's a nice $10. tool box!
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Back N Black

I have one of those rare tool boxes, but mine is a clone.  :D

Well, even so, if your right, that still would make it rare. I mean, how many people actually saved them, not many.  :Twocents:

It's a late '69 or a '70 model box. Lemon Twist wasn't available in 1968.  ;D

Looks good.   Back in the day, you didn't have to put something under the box... Just lay it on the car!    :2thumbs:

That looks really good Back N Black.   :2thumbs:
But even back then I would have put a rag under the box..........what am I saying, I never would have placed the box on the car full stop. Plenty of room on the floor for that.

I think it's real,  :scratchchin: I have the same box in orange with a knockoff scatpack type character in white with mag wheels and pipes on him with the same white stripe. I got mine at our local thrift shop for $10.00, :nana: i keep it in the trunk of the Superbird with some basic tools in it.
