Bummer Heavy fuel. Look at it this way though at least you still have it in your possession & it will hit the road some day. Luckily this is why I have always kept my red 70' Charger. It is unrestored & is my driver. I do whatever I can to keep it running & in driveable condition. I probably never will be able to afford to to a full tilt resto on it.

Even if you can afford it I'd be a bit reluctant.

My car is a driver as well but eventually will need some work.  I won't restore it though because it'll become a shelf in my garage and this is coming from someone who has restored dozens of cars.

Maybe when I'm done with college and am working a normal hour job I will change my mind.

I know with carefull planning I can do the car over one winter but it's tight, especially doing it alone.

Heavy fuel, hindsight is always 20/20 but focus on the road ahead, no tthe one behind you.  Your car is going to be a gem and you are going to love driving it around.  Besides, you owe your daughter a ride to the dairy queen!  :icon_smile_big:
