side scallops, were any painted from factory

Just wondering if any 68 - 70 chargers had painted side scallops from the factory?  I've seen some cars that looked original with them in a contrasting color, but not aware of any option for it, and not sure if any were actually sold that way initially.  It looks pretty good for some, doubt i'd paint mine that way but it would be nice to test it out, a little black on the sides would go well with the v21 hood and the black stripe on the back. 

A parts car charger i used to pull from had a unique looking taped stripe from the scallops to the trunk lip, but it was a 70 charger, never seen one like it since, it was a 4spd w/dana rear, never knew what engine it came with.  I tried to get the dana off of it, but someone grabbed it before i could get it out.
