I'm installing a heat bypass valley pan this week. What would be good choice for a new intake manifold to use with a an Edlebrock 1407 carb? One that won't cause any hood interference?

I have an Edelbrock Performer 383 intake and it is good but My air cleaner top does rub on my hood pad

I have a WEIND Action Plus that did a little better than a performer in a dyno test Car Craft did a few years ago on a mild 440. However they no longer make that intake for a RB.

got  wieand stealth / action plus , think they same   :shruggy:  on  at the minute ,  wonder why they stopped making them  :scratchchin: for RB motors , year one was using that intake on their own crate motor too

going to look around for a CH4B some time  :scratchchin:

ignore the copper & plastic filter , thats a temporary experiment been running  with a metered return line back to the tank , so cooler fuel runs through the carb continuously , will bend up propper hard line soon , also cant decide to run it with  a electric fuel pump too  ,
