Frankenstein Exhaust

I didn't go with the tried and true exhausts system.  I wanted to try something different.

Doug's D-452 headers, X-Pypes with dumps, welded Ultra-flo's, Flowmaster mandrel bent tail pipes, and PG Classics's 3" tip's.

Everything is welded except behind the Ultra-flo's where I used butt to butt clamps.  I did this so I can remove the exhaust from the headers to the front of the rear axle if I ever had to.  I was able to keep the driveshaft loop also.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

I just finished installing it today and I'm hoping to hear it this weekend.

Nice! :2thumbs:

But heck with the exhaust, how do you make the car run with the key in the trunk? :P

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Sweeet !  :2thumbs:

I have a very similar setup on the Black Pig. Only difference is that i added flanges on the front of the mufflers so i would be able to drop the x-pipe assembly when needed.

Nice clean install Dr Frankenstein

I used the 3" Summit X kit and did the same thing awhile back. It fit well and I would give it another thumbs up.
