Great progress!   Hope I get to see your Charger this weekend.
Curious I noticed that there's a texture to your dash frame in your VIN pic.
I redid my dash frame on my 68 and it's a smoother texture than yours is. Was this a preference or should I consider redoing mine with a rougher texture?

Thanks

Honestly, I'm not sure but I'll find out today.

Work has been going until midnight the last couple of days as some things have taken longer than expected.  However the biggest issue right now is that our restored 3-spd wiper motor was "lost in the mail"??  It was supposedly shipped back on the 25th and we expected to receive it by the 28th-29th, but it never arrived.  According to the tracking number, it's somehow lost in space...

So, we're trying to have one overnighted to arrive on Saturday.  It's quite possible we take the car into the show on Saturday minus the wiper motor - get that installed Saturday night and then take it back in on Sunday complete for the 2nd day (and judging).  That's of course if it arrives at all, else we might buy a restored one at the swap meet (if there is one) and install that Saturday night.

Anyway - it's probably 50-50 whether or not we make it, but it sure has kept things interesting!

I'm gonna start the drive down from the Bay Area to LA in about 2-3 hours to see where we're at this afternoon.  Alignment should be getting done this morning.  My guess is somehow, someway the car will be there at least on Sunday, but I'll know more this afternoon/evening.

I'll obviously be going to the show either way - so Vegas, hope to see you there.  If the car is there Saturday we will be right next to an orange 1970 Challenger.  Of course on Sunday I'll be w/ the rest of the B-bodies.
If there's some way to easily identify you, let me know.

It was nice to meet you and talk about your car. Glad you were able to make it to the Spring Fling. Also had a nice chat with the builders. Nice...

Yeah same here, great to meet you today. Thankfully the wiper motor arrived today and will be on the car for tomorrow.
