Will the engine, trans, and rear gears from a 72 charger swap into a '69?
Both cars are set up for big blocks, both have 8 3/4 rears. I know the rearend housing themselves are different but will the center section swap out?

Both trans. are 727s so the drive shaft should work for either car right?

jaak

Motor, trans, and center section shouldn't be a problem. The only thing Im not sure of is the driveshaft length...I'll have to look that one up, and see.

Agree, I believe 3rd gen wheel base is 2" shorter the 2nd gens.

Yes, wheelbase is two inches shorter on the 3rd gens.

A driveshaft is a easy fix. Do it.
