4-barrel manifold for my 400....

Guys,

I have a chance to pick up a stock 4-barrel intake manifold for my '73, for $50.00, to replace/upgrade from the original 2-barrel. Is this manifold acceptable for a future stroker build, or even a slightly modified (new camshaft, 3.23 gears, dual exhaust) system? What range of part numbers for the 4-barrel mainfold would fit? All comments appreciated.

Depending on the carb any 383 400 intakes will work fine. You might need a different choke though. You may
also need new carb linkage to get it to be the right length from 2bbl to 4bbl.
