Saw this on moparts and had to share..great old junkyard footage. Lots of shoebox 50's stuff. Somewhat painful to watch.

Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

That guy was nuts.  I hate seeing cars crushed.  But, I understand the reason why.  Just can't save them all, but it's fun trying :icon_smile_big:

^^ demo derby footage from 1973

There was what looks like a 66 Charger in there around the 0:15 mark.

Oh man, those old demo derbies. No seat belts, no squish bars, no rollover post, low back seat, ....... It just hurts to watch. Low back seat!  :icon_smile_blackeye: :icon_smile_blackeye: :icon_smile_blackeye: !!!

My uncle told me that when he used to derby in 60's the entire preparation of the car was 1) Get un-sober, 2) Roll down the side windows. Then it was time to roll.

Damn you have good eyes!  But it appears to be a 1966 or 1967 Coronet 4 door sedan with no grille after careful examination. :scope:

It could also be the newest car in the bunch (only 6-7 years old).  :shruggy:
