Trunk carpet or pads....what did our 69's come with?

I have old black carpet in my trunk? All I see with resto companies is the grey plaid pattern? Did our 69 Chargers come with carpet originally? Thanks! TC

came with a patterned vinyl pad, not carpet.

Unless you have a 1st gen of course, all the fastback Chargers had a carpeted trunk.

Yep, vinyl mats.  Two colors, tan plaid and some other plaid.

It's black carpet....Fits the 69 trunk perfectly has all the cut outs for the jack. Sure it could have been made for it years ago as it is quite aged....which makes me think it was factory. Hmm?

Not factory - not listed as an option for Charger......I think some C-Bodies had trunk carpet as an option

I have an NOS Motor City Original trunk mat new in the box it has MC427-927 stamped on the box and 628 written on the box, it is a Grey one. It is not perfect but it is new never installed.  Let me know if any of you are interested PM or E-Mail

Defintitely not factory on a 69.  It was standard in 66 and 67 but then "decontented" as they say today for the 2nd gen (along with the standard tach and a bunch of other cool stuff but it was a better looking car so I gues it all paid off)
