That ad doesn't mention the EPA history and chasing jets down runways and all of the other cool reasons that make this car special, and not appear as a really wrongly restored car.

That's not at all the direction I was going.   

We can probably agree that the car is unlikely to find a new owner at that kind of number.    What is the right price?    There are no comparables.   

It was a gutsy move to restore the car to the test car configuration.    So far, the pool of potential buyers don't seem to appreciate that.   Then again, it has never been offered at what I would consider a realistic price either.    It isn't stock so most cannot relate to it.    It isn't full race either.  It doesn't have a Hemi.   Although the paint has more "pop" then when new, it's kind of bland looking and that doesn't help matters.     The story about the car has been out there in the media for a while, but it just doesn't seem to resonate.    The positive is that it is the only Ray Nichels pedigreed Mopar  remaining that you can legally drive on the street.   

I think it would be a great bookend type car for an aero car collection.    The price is just way too high.
