Loved it :2thumbs:  Dodge hit a homerun ( or made a touchdown ;)) with that commercial.



Sorry, I still call a Ram truck a Dodge, force of habit.  It's still a Dodge in my book

Amen. Agreed, Chrysler hit a home run (how many more days until pitchers and catchers report?) with that commercial. Now if we could just bring back the high school refs....   :brickwall:

Paul Harvey would read that about farmers about once a year, usually on his Saturday radio program.  he also had ones for mothers day, fathers day, Christmas and Easter (and probably others that i don't recall).  at one time, his morning 5 minute spot, his noontime 15 minutes and his 'rest of of the story' programs were the three highest rated programs on the air.  Paul was an American icon and i grew up listening homespun, down to earth reporting.  when he passed away a couple of years ago, as Paul would have said, "we lost more than we could afford".

I liked the farmer one and the budweiser one. But i just about threw up seeing that Go Daddy commercial!!!( The one with the nerdy geek and the supermodel making out!)  Totally gross!  :eek2:

i agree, did not like that one.  thought the dodge commercial was good. the dorito's were good. the montana stain commercial was good. :2thumbs:

:iagree: Almost lost my Doritos during that one. They started to show it a 2nd time and I flipped channels real quick. I'd rather see the halftime show 10 times again than that one once more.

Well said. When I was a young guy, when the crews would stop for lunch break they'd all head for the radios in their trucks to listen to Paul Harvey. Paul Harvey was as American as apple pie and baseball, and more poet than a reporter.

The Ram commercial was rated #3 most popular commercial Sunday night.  The Jeep commercial was #5.  Budweiser was #1 followed by the Joe Montana commercial.
