Shelby's art work was selected to be in "Emerging Visions" will be held on Thursday, February 7th from 6pm to 8pm at the YorkArts Gallery, where attendees are invited to enjoy light refreshments as they preview original bodies of work by seven regional undergraduate artists.  These small collections, ranging in media and subject matter, highlight each young artist's development towards a distinct and personal style.

"Emerging Visions" will feature artwork by Jennifer Hall and Erin M. Holberg from Tyler School of Art; Shelby O'Brien and Kree Wiede from York College; and Nikki McIntyre, Sam Momeyer, and Ashley Rudacille from California University of PA.  A juror will select one best of show, and awards of distinction to be presented during the reception.

Join us in celebrating the hard work and creativity of these seven talented undergraduate artists as they pursue a degree in Art. The exhibition and reception are free to attend and open to the public.  "Emerging Visions" will be on display from February 7th to March 23rd 2013 at the YorkArts Gallery, 10 N. Beaver Street, York PA.

The opening was great. Shelby taked to high school students about her work before the show. The treasure box piece I showed in this thread is in their window.  :2thumbs:  Shelby was the only artist that sold any art.
