Hey Guys,

I have a 69 Charger R/T SE super trak pak car that I'm restoring. You might have seen a thread on it, but I have posted to it in a long time. The original dealership it was sold from closed a few years ago.  I was able to get some memorabilia from the dealership. Some later 5 star quality signage and 2 signs with the dealership name that hung on the outside of the building.

The signs are the letters that spell out the dealership name. The name is "Burgin Dodge". From the attached pic you can see how big the letters are. My son in the pic is 5'7" for reference.

These signs are made of plastic and are hard and brittle. Does anyone have any idea how best to preserve them, if possible at all? They hung on the outside of the building for many years, and I guess are a wear item meant to be replaced ever so often.

I want to display them with my car once it's restored, although I'm not sure how to do that considering the size. I guess hang them on the inside of my garage wall. But, in the mean time, what's the best way to keep them from discoloring and getting worse? Any ideas?

Thanks guys !

Why don't you just call Plasti-Line Inc - Powell, TN 865 938 1511.  They probably made the sign originally.  In any case, I would say they can advise you on the preservation of the sign.
