Anyone use this before?  I just bought a bottle and did some rust treatment on my Jeep today (I live one street away from the Atlantic Ocean so I've got to keep it protected).   The consistency is somewhere between naval jelly and wd-40, and it did turn the rust I sprayed with it black.  It's a bit gooey so it stays put.   I was wondering if anyone else had used it on exposed metal to keep rust away?  The testimonials say things like 'You can spray this on metal left outdoors and it won't rust for 20 years' but I have a hard time believing that.  I needed something that wouldn't dry out but wouldn't be like jell-o and so far it seems pretty good.   Thoughts/feedback?

I usually cut out the rust, weld in new metal and use auotmobile paint and clearcoat, but thta's just me. undercoating underneath.

Looks like an all in one deal.  Penetrates and removes rust and then incapsulates the metal to prevent oxidization.  Do a little test, get a real rusty piece of metal, treat it with the product and stick it outside in a bucket filled with salt water.  Put a real thin coat on it and see how it reacts.  If it looks the same 4 weeks from now it'll last a very long time.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Lol cooter the Jeep has only very mild surface rust in a few spots, and no body rot at all, I'm trying to keep it that way since I'm stuck at the beach with no garage for at least 6 more months :)

Dino, I think I'll try that.    I just went out and checked on all the snaps for the original top, the stuff is still there sitting on them, almost like Vaseline even after it rained.   Not bad so far.
