Engine Stamping Help

Hello,
I can't seem to figure out the stampings on my 383 in my 70 Charger 500.  This car was born with a 383-2bbl and I'm trying to determine if this is the original engine.  The stamp on the pad adjacent to the distributor reads:

1st line: R, 2nd line: 87956, 3rd line: F  The 3rd line could possibly be an E too but it's hard to read.  That's all on the stamp pad.

The block is cast with 2468130 7  with LL below it.

I did not find a ID stamp plate on either side of the block above the oil pan and I do not see a stamp in the back of the engine at the tranny. I've read that all post 1968 engines has the ID stamp plate above the oil pan so I'm guessing this is an earlier block.    Can anyone shed some light on this?  thx

R means Regular fuel, E is the year code for '69 and F is the year code for '70.

Line 2 makes no sense.

OK, so this could be a 70 block.  So why is there not a VIN number on a pad above the oil pan?  Is that just an RB thing or what?  Thx for any help.

If it is from a 1969 or 1970 model year car it will have a raised pad on the passenger side of the block.It is about 3" long & 3/4 of an inch or so high.

Thanks, Alaskan_TA.  Don't think I could have missed a pad that big.  It appears this could be a replacement motor.  Bummer    I hope to pull this engine later this year and will see if I can find other markings.
