'70 floor pans

looks like floor pans will be added to the winter project list for the '70.  Thinking AMD 405-1466-l&R patch panels would be good choices? The tunnel is solid and the car has an aftermaket floor shifter and will get a O/D transmission eventually, so I was leaning toward the patch panels instead of the whole floor pan.

What is the black coating on AMD panels? What is EDP?

Electrically Deposited Primer.  Kinda similar to Powder coating....

I didn't trust it. Took off all the AMD primer and applied epoxy.

With all the $$ in material and paint didn't want to chance it.

I would apply epoxy over it at a minimum.
