Any observed power increase on a 440 by indexing standard spark plugs?  What direction do you put the ground electrode?

Troy

I usually put that end inside the engine. ;)

Gap should face the valves. One place will say slightly toward the exhaust valve and another will say towards the intake and another will say directly between - but always towards the valves.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Thanks.
I have the headers off now, switching to ceramic headers and having the steering box redone, so I will give it a try.

I doubt you will notice anything by indexing the plugs on a street engine

:iagree: and to add to that the only reason most race guys bother with indexing is for clearance when using a domed piston.
