They are a good product but only really needed for a race type build.  :yesnod:

I think there's a LOT of stuff out there being sold as " must have" upgrades but for normal street driving under 500 hp (which is a LOT) I think it's a waste of $$$

was looking at building a 500 magnum e.g. stock except for stroke increase. not looking for a shed load of horsepower ,i want seat of the pants old fashioned torque instead of heavy duty meaning 700 hp i;m looking for 100,000 kilometres just want that huge torque increase from idle to 5500 spend nearly all my time cruising just want to be able to fry tyres at will . guy i was talking to said increase stroke puts extra strain on stock main caps and that's the part that fails .like i said after long term  reliability

For what you're wanting to do the stock caps are fine. You should upgrade the main bolts to an ARP fastner and have the block line bored. For a pump gas street stroker this is all you will ever need.  :yesnod:
