That being said...   how many of us guys had to get a job and help pay for our first insurance while our sisters got a free ride?  :P

My sister, brother & Mom moved away.  I don't know how good they had it.  I do know that nowadays they milk her pretty hard, pisses me off.

Pay for my 1st insurance?  Shit, I wish that was all I had to pay, I had to buy the car, pay for my own lunches at school, pay for my high school graduation invitations (they were home made if that tells you anything), my Dad & his wife didn't want school pictures so again.  That's the stuff I remember.
And I worked 40 hours a week, top cook flipping burgers @ the local A & W.  Yeah, I started off as a car hop.  Before this gig, numerous dish washing jobs.   I tell my wife that's why I hate doing dishes to this day, hey it works.   ;)

Well since I replied to this thread...the kiddo, 17yr old daughter had her first accident! She's fine (til her Mother gets home), she slid off off the highway, bad road conditions, and messed up the car pretty good!!!

It is a brand spanking new top of the line Toyota Camary...it belongs to her Mother, my ex... :icon_smile_big:   :nana:....Ol' Mommsy is outta town!

Needs a bumper, fender, probably a grill...it all just shattered cuz it's so frigging cold up here! They figure 2-3k damage!

Stay tuned, I'll let ya know if it affects her insurance...it is a no fault thing, road conditions!

Wanna post a pic, but the kid won't email them to me (afraid I'll post them... ::)), and my phone is broken.

Oh yeah, fun fact! My insurance called me, was told since the daughter did not live with me, and she's an insured driver on her Mothers car, doesn't cost me anything to put her on my car...they made a mistake, gave me a credit... :woohoo:
