We have a big car festival every year here in Perth called Motorvation, which is all about burnouts and flogging around the track in your car. It's generally just full of complete dickheads in terrible cars (Holden Commodores), but we had a decent Mopar turnout this year all things considered.

'70 Charger with a really neat 6.1 conversion mated to a 727. Paint and interior were awesome too.

Only other US Charger there was mine - so here's a heap of pics of it.  :icon_smile_big:

Don't have a shot of any of the burnouts (yet), but I will have some video footage soon.

Here it is with my '71 Valiant Hardtop:

Unfortunately the 727's rear extension housing split in half at 100mph on the drag strip (a little scary), but this gave me a surprisingly good opportunity for pics whilst waiting for a tow back to the pits!  :smilielol:

Here are the Aussie Chargers and other yanky Mopars in attendance:

472 Hemi!

528 Indy-headed 440 - has huge horsepower:

Another 528 stroker, and probably one of the angriest Mopars I've ever heard.

Couple more of my Hardtop:

This immaculate '70 AAR 'Cuda was imported recently and took out Top Muscle Car in the Elite Tent. Absolutely drool-worthy:

E38 Charger, also in the Elite top 60:

Nice 225 VC sedan that was cruising all weekend.

Lastly, this is what an Aussie burnout looks like...

Very cool :drool5:  Makes me wish at times Mopar in the US offered some of the cars the Aussies got.  I definitely like the Valiant Chargers

Cheers guys!

Chippa I'll be at Big Al's and the Expo, might see you there, I'll be in the white hardtop.

Although Tom gave me his mate's number who has a fresh big block 727 apparently for sale so could be a slim chance of getting the Dodge mobile again.
