Hi Guys,

Has anyone on here had dealings with a place called West Coast Mopar?

They are located in Palm Springs California.

I am possibly about to spend a substantial amount of cash with them and would appreciate a heads up if anyone has had dodgy dealings with them

Hi Mauve66,

I have called them on the number provided and it diverts to a cell number. They are listed on the net, not that that means much these days. I have an address for them as well but not sure. Thinking maybe I should tell him I want to organize an inspection of the vehicle and see what he says.

i see a facebook page, not a business website, i see a yellowpage listing, not a business website.  of course maybe its a word of mouth operation but i would want to see the shop and see cars that they have done, in the owners driveway, not in a photo album

Doing a bit more research and found these guys trade as Automania also. They are a Restoration and Storage place.

Nope, never heard of them either, but thats not the definitive answer. FFS! Be realistic man, do not transfer any money anywhere without an inspection. As you said its a substantial amount, so dont risk losing it or getting an unregisterable lemon turn up on your doorstep.  :Twocents:

Thanks for the help guys,

What would make a car unregisterable?

If I am looking to restore and pretty much rebuild it?

It's hard due to the fact I'm overseas.

What to do, what to do?

How about you make a new post and ask the guys here about who they use. Ever see some of the cars on this forum? There to die for. If it were me, and I was about to spend that much money, I would do a lot more research. You did do the right thing of asking about these guys. Good luck

I bought 2 cars from them a couple of years ago, 71 Roadrunner and 73 Charger, did not have any problems, both great cars, as advertised on Ebay, Roadrunner did not have a title when I bought it but they applied for a title and sent it to me a few weeks later. I went and looked at the cars myself(live only couple hours away from Palm Springs), I thought they were very professional
