It all started off yesterday with my buddy trying to madly reassemble his Charger after painting it with black primer.   I forgot to take "after" pics of the back end.     That's a 440 peeking out at you from an original 318 car.   Bottle isn't hooked up...yet.

And with the grill back on.   The car really looks like a ridge runner.

Here we go on the way to the premier today.     My carburetor repair guru is offering me the typical salute.

I REALLY love this shot...shame it's a little blurry...but hey, I was tryin to steer!

We got some good parking spots in the valet lot (yeah, we would NOT let them park our cars and read on to find out why!)

They wanted a picture with the Charger, so I took a picture of them.   Hold the comments, they were underage!

Not alot of people came over to see the cars, I actually expected a little more interest, but that's ok.   It was great walking out of there and (like 200 other people there) saying "Man!   I wish I had a Charger!" and gettin into one!!!

Nice shots. One thing, change those inner tail light bulbs to #97's. :icon_smile_big:

Heh, it should.  :)   Yeah, I told him to change the lightbulbs out on that thing.   Here's a shot of his interior:

Awsome so I wasn't the only one who drove my 69 Charger to the premier of the DOH. I took my 500 to a drive in though.

I'm going to the drive-in tonight in Catskill.   It happens to be their annual classic car cruise in night also.  $8 a carload.   Whoohoo.

Is that a super/shifter 3?  I spy a highly modified trans tunnel and a red reverse lever hanging out in there!

This ticket is only $69.00 ?  If I'd have known that I'd have been going FASTER !

Sure it.  Car was an original column car (you can see the shift indicator still) and was gently massaged into a 4 speed.  ;)  I've not driven the car yet, but I'm going to so I can get a feel for the super shifter.  We raced once and it was tough for me to shift with no tach...I couldn't tell if it was my motor screaming or his.  :)

Doug, I feel you on the Rain X.  Three days ago it poured so bad I had to find an overhang and sit under it for an hour and a half (fortunately I had a book and a Publix supermarket nearby) and then yesterday I got caught AGAIN but the RainX did it's job.  Here in Florida during the summer it will be clear at 1pm and black by 1:30pm, torrential downpour by 2 and clear again by 4.  Sucks when your windshield leaks and you got no AC!
