Problems with glass

anyone else here having problems ordering new glass .I have been waiting 5 months now for the back glass on  a 69 .I ordered it in aug last year as a complete B-BODY GLASS KIT 1968 -1970 and the rear glass is on back order ..just got off the phone to the company i am dealing with and they said it could be another 2 months before it is sorted ....well past my patience date

AMD is the supplier....I ordered it through a company off the web Tamraz , trying to find other alternatives

Most of that sort of stuff is drop-shipped directly from AMD so the vendors are at their mercy. I doubt if any other vendor would actually have it in stock because of this. Sometimes it takes a very long time for AMD to get new stock.

Is it clear or tinted? Clear rear windows are (were?) still available through regular glass suppliers (Pinkerton makes them I believe). No such luck on the tinted ones though.

That's what held me up too. My body man says he has the glass, he got it weeks ago. They said we could break up the order, I told him don't do that because then you go to the back of the pack. I'll see where he got it, maybe yearone. He'd go get it, so I wanna say y.o.

I ordered tinted glass but had suggested to them that i would run with clear ,even if they miraculously turned up it will be 2 months before i see them in New Zealand.

Tamraz were trying to see if they could find an alternative for the rear glass and would get back to me straight away ....been nearly a month now .
They said they would refund my money , but it is already costing me interest on my creditcard and the banks over here charge 1.5% on every foreign transaction , so even if they they cant come up with the goods it is costing me money .What frustrates me the most is they didint even let me know  I ordered the glass mid August and when the container turned up in december ..no glass .After i made toll calls i found out what the story was

had the same problem here in austalia try David at road runner windscreens I think his number is 0412 427 454 or  if that's wrong let me know and I will check it and get back to you, glass made here in Melbourne, worse case I have a spare brand new tinted rear window, haven't put my front or rears in yet, bought the extra for someone else but he never came good on the money

Bought mine at Roadrunner too No problems at all. He had it in stock and I just went and picked it up. They even fit it for you if you want. Fits perfectly. That mobile number's correct.

road runner windscreens he specialises in muscle cars, as I said if you really get stuck I have a brand new spare in Melbourne I think his number is 0412 427 454 or engine sizes the other way around , or I have also used Stephens performance in the us number 1 and distributed

0418737130 sorry brad don't get to get on here often enough , yes I still have it, paid $ 350 for it, any advise how to pack it so you get it one piece , it's a tinted one,  I will take photo of it and try to post it the next few days
