I'm surprised that part of the area wasn't condemned a long time ago.  I would have thought city officials would of made someone demolish it and clean it up for future development.  It is sad to see automotive history just fall apart, but it makes a nice scene of what would happen in Life After People.

It would  be more in the last ten-fifteen years that it started to get really bad.  Its unfortunately not the only run down industrial building in Detroit nor is it the worst.  Detroit kind of has bigger problems on its plate right now than demolishing an old factory I'm afraid.
