Can't even begin to offer an opinion without pictures. If you haven't laid eyes on the car, that is a must IMO.
FLY NAVY/Marine Corps or take the bus!

JB400

Where is the "NO" option?  That is another "It will be worth $100,000 when its done" car.  This car was talked about a month or so ago on here.  Price is a little high for what it is imo.

68X426

Stroker nails it: where's the NO option?

I would run away fast.

What bs to say it was stored for 4 decades. In that condiditon? And the nonsense about the trans is good but "we haven't run thru the gears". I would run away based on the principle that a bad salesman almost always means a bad car.

Make me number three on that.  It isn't the last one in the world and if you are already concerned about meeting the financial challenge, walk walk walk.

Dino

The song says walk, don't run.  I have to disagree with that right now and say run, don't walk.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Troy

No. I saw the price and only made it through two pictures to make that decision.

Being a numbers matching R/T SE does have some value. However, I think that's worth worth far less than $100k when finished. If it was, those guys would have it in a shop restoring it instead of selling it "as is". Unless you can do all the restoration work yourself you'll have more tied up in labor than it would cost to just buy a nice Charger outright. It sounds like you have a tight budget already. Imagine quadrupling that amount and you might be close to finishing that car.

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

skip68

NO!  And I also say BS on it being stored for almost 40 years.  That is BS.   I'd say that car is worth $6k-$8k.....  about half of what they want for it.

71 SE3834V

Yeah, you don't get that much wear & tear on a car driving it for 5 yrs. Where was it stored, at the bottom of a lake???  :smilielol:
71 Charger SE 383 4V
72 Galaxie 500 400 2V

Hard Charger

10k-12k and you will still be underwater when done.  So love the car

unless you are a body man.

i would not touch it because of the add alone. it wreaks of a distrustful seller.

hawkeye

hello???  doesn't anyone look at the links?  same car, same questions, same answers, only the new buyer has changed.   first posted back in october.   :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall:

JB400

Nobody's home hawkeye.

I knew this car has been discussed before, I guess others have a shorter memory.

1974dodgecharger

you guys are ridiculous!!!!  YOu need to understand that this is a 'charger' they go up in value daily no matter the condition of the car itself!!

Awesome car and yes its a value when your done  you can then sell it for over 100k for sure since these cars are so rare.  So rare the seller does not even want to make 100k on it so he is passing the savings onto you so you can make some money since he has made his money already by finding these cars and fixing it.

When I met HPLAG a year ago, he was talking about the Black Mr. Norms car then.... after meeting them I realized they had a large smoke and mirrors business as I could not get straight answers about anything. If they won't turn this into a general lee, It must be to bad for them to even redo...

ACUDANUT

Worth 100K when done....Maybe 30..When done.

That's a car that just keeps giving.... ;) I wonder what they do guarantee :smilielol: Glad I passed on them.

472 R/T SE

tt beat me to it.

Why is it HLPAG doesn't want it since they're trying to peddle it instead of throwing a bunch orange, flat black & tan Krylon rattle cans at it & then asking a premium $35,999.99 SINCE IT'S AN R/T SE!!!!

Wow, did you read their ''disclaimer'' in the other thread? "We tell Lies about Cars we sell and thats ok 'cause we say it is'' . com  :D
