I was using the stock intake and a Holley carb on my 383.  I have changed to a stock looking aluminum weiand intake and edelbrock carb.  The edelbrock carb is wider and the factory linkage sits things to close yo the wider carb.  I had a bracket that is aftermarket that moves the linkage to the correct distance from the edelbrock carb.  However it is made for a high rise intake.  I attempted to put a carb spacer in but it caused me hood clearance  issues. Any suggestions.  I am sure there is a bracket, I just have been unable to find one.  Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

If I understand the problem, why not just install a stock factory linkage bracket with the correct Mopar throttle lever extension on the carb?
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
