The stock bulbs are on the dim side, if I eat PB & jelly for 2 weeks I can swing it.

It might prevent someone from rear ending you so it's cheap when you put it that way.

Thats cool stuff......

Did'nt knew of the existance of those. O think that is a good investment for our classics to keep up a bit with the demands of modern traffic. I feel this is just as important than upgrading the brake system of our cars.

Very cool and pretty cheap insurance.
I'm going to order some, last summer I started driving my Charger at night and was a bit nervous because of the lighting.

Just 6T9 CHGR

Do they actually illuminate the whole lens like the incandescent bulbs do or do they just look like a "single LED" inside the lens?

They light up the whole lens, they are a 360 degree  bulb (leds on the sides as well, not just firing front)

So according to this:
http://www.1969chargerregistry.com/gallery/facts/chart_pic_001?full=1

A rear set for a 68 would be four 1157 or 23x5630 (red).
http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/1157-LED

+ two 1157 (A) for the front turn signals (amber).  But I can't find the 1157 (A).  Is that the same as the 1095?

Thanks - and good find!

You are probably right.  I have never purchased any from anywhere.  I was very interested in this post and these bulbs, but I am just a cheap skate and for half the price with free shipping it might be worth a try.   There is also always the chance that all these LED bulbs are made in the same factory in China. :shruggy:

I saw those too, Brian!    That would work for the 1004.
The hard one to get is the size 90. It appears there is no cross reference number for that bulb. It's a fairly small bulb as well. Maybe a short 1142 cross referenced LED bulb would work?  :shruggy:

Anyone know what bulbs would be compatible with the dome, map, and console lights? They were sizes 1004 & 90.  :shruggy:

Bil, here is a link to the ones I just installed in the 68:

I saw those too, Brian!    That would work for the 1004.
The hard one to get is the size 90. It appears there is no cross reference number for that bulb. It's a fairly small bulb as well. Maybe a short 1142 cross referenced LED bulb would work?  :shruggy:

I used those same ones in all 3. they dont get hot ,so they work out just fine.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior

You are correct Bill, 1142 crosses. Pricey buggers though.
