How does one know what rim was Original without the BuildSheet?

I see many cars using the color coded rim and poverty caps, but unless you have a buildsheet how do you know that is correct?  I don't think the fender tag has a code for that option, or does it?  Never saw it at least.  I personally would prefer the Magnum, but hesistate if that was not correct.

You don't, unless you find a old back in the day pic.

And the reason so many originally came with plain wheels and pvoerty caps in the first place was because the owners were going to immediately install the custom wheel of their choice as soon as they got the car home anyway.  (which means in many ways an aftermarket wheel is the correct one  :lol: )

Only thing you have to go on is what wheels/hubcaps were available for that particular year.  After that, it's personal preference of which you like/ afford/ find.
