Those are the same tank.  Go with the cheaper one.  I asked around because I just bought a new tank, and I was told that Quanta carried the best ones.  I bought mine through Dante's Parts who told me that Quanta carried the Spectra tanks, which he also carried so I got mine through him on his Black Friday sale after Thanksgiving.

You can get Charger gas tanks from probably 50 different places, including many Ford and Chevy parts outlets. It's probably one of the most common Charger parts you can buy and yet I'm willing to bet there are only a handful of companies making them. I know there's at least one place in Canada making them if you don't want a Chinese tank. Sometimes you can even get the sending unit thrown in for less than the price of just the tank at another place.

What I'm trying to say is, this is one of those times where price is probably the main concern because building a gas tank really is a hard thing to screw up. You take two stamped metal halves and bond them together and if you can effecively seal a seam you're able to build a decent gas tank. IIRC I paid $157 for mine from a place that sells mainly Mustang parts.

Got mine & stainless straps, from Mancini Racing, I don't remember the total cost, but $200-ish, I think...

Sounds about right.

I got mine from Quanta with stainless straps as well. I think I got the sending unit on eBay with a "Best Offer" button from a reputable seller. I ended up buying two because the price was so good. Same repro sold by most. And, both needed the usual adjusting.

What about the gas tanks that are claimed to be zinc.  Is that inside or out.

I went ahead and bought a Spectra.  I didn't want a tank made in China.
