Mystery picture...what do you think this is?

I took these last night on the way out to the St. Paul, a little island between Alaska and Russia. We were at 16,000 feet and these seemed way higher. I haven't seen anything like this before. 
- thought it was contrails from an air-to-air refueling track but center said no current or recent activity.
- no military ops going on
- no missile/rocket launches advertised
- and not a "trick" picture, just used my IPad.

...probably a drunk alien I think, what about you guys?

- Not a hoax, I'm the one who took it, The Capt and I just looked up and said "...hmm that's wierd" and each took some pics, no sinister plot
- Nope not a hair on lens, was there for about 20-30 min
- Looks like the "Nexus" doesn't it?

If I had to explain it I'd say it was a contrail from a missile shot. The closest place is Russia but I believe all their stuff is in Kazakhstan not the Arctic ocean and there were no NOTAMS (notices to Airmen) about any launches. The picture below is the closest I could find on google to mine, it's of a minute man ICBM launch, but shows an ingress (beginning) my pic just has squiggly contrails with no ingress or egress?
