I'm currently doing mine, but used Performance Suspension. I purchased the complete kit and went with the heavy duty upgrade tie rods. The kit came with everything but the pitman arm. I was pissed!!  :flame:  Why would you include everything but the pitman arm?????  If you are doing the whole front end makesure you get it with the kit. I went with the poly. I've heard that Just Suspension is suppose to be good too.

I was in that same boat, it was explained to me that the stock pitman arms are very expensive and people choose to go to a fast turning radius pitman arm but have to change the steering gear box out with a later 70 model box as a core exchange to except the fast turning raduse arm, but I went the expensive rout and bought the old style pitman arm for I did not want to loose my original power steering gear box.

I was just quoted $ 187 for the pitman arm from Performance Suspension. I'm going to search around at local auto store (Auto zone, etc..) I also have power steering and I'm restoring the Charger as original as I can. The ball joint is still pretty tight but I'm not taking any chances. How much did you pay?

I see PST has the pitman arms listed for $ 100, freight included! I'm leaning that way now.

I would have to look through old receipts but that sounds about right $187, if you were to go with a more new version steering gear box which would cost you and your old original core you could go with a cheaper fast turning ratio pitman arm for about a hundred dollars cheaper or more, but it sounds like your only rebuilding front suspension and not your steering gear box? sorry I can't remember what the all the hell I did, but went through FIRM FEEL for my stuff, and PST, and wanted the car to drive like an old charger but last longer then rubber and put it back together as much as I could the way it came from the factory, besides the PST poly kit and went with a stage 1 box which is firmer then original but not too stiff were it feels like a newer car feel.............

all I can say is when my car done I will let you know LOL, might be a lone time, I ripped the poly sway bar mounts twice, they set me replacements at no charge, and some of the Zerk fitting didn't fit right so they sent me about a dozen different kind for the lower ball joint, no charge, they helped me every time I had a problem with there kit and bent over backwards to help me in my mind so i have no problem with them so far, in saying that, this is the first time doing anything this big as a front suspension or even restoring a car so I'm sure there is better suspension kits out there but is PST crap in my novice opinion no...........
