Paul, good on you, buddy!!!

I got extended by a month...not planning on it...boss at home not overly pleased, especially with the anti-Danish cartoon crowds lobbing crap and who knows what over our compound wall!  It's getting about time for me too, change at the last minute (extra month and a half) catches you for a loop...

...on the plus side, that gives me a bit more cash for when I come home...hmmmm....maybe some Indy EZ heads, Engle KV-3 cam and nice rockers will get added to the list of goodies I currently have under my bunk? ;)

Cheers,
Duey

Thanks everyone! :patriot:
I was glad to do my part, and I can say that I had met some of the finest people our countries have to offer over there. Especially G Coy 2 RCR and the soldiers I served with from the US 173rd Abn Bde.

Duey: Stay strong my brother, not much longer and you'll be back.  Like you said, more toys for you and nicer weather for your post-deployment leave (to work on the rump-rump-rump ;) )  I like the CDN Patriot - Smiley!

I just spent the morning opening up boxes of stuff I'd bought over the internet from the last couple of months...MTF.  ;D

Did you happen to meet a guy named Doug McKinnis over there? He runs some bomb-sniffing dogs for the miltary.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Bull, that name sounds familliar.  We Canucks got an ex-ANA (Afghan Army) mine-sniffing dog for compound security and we droped by one of the US bases where the working dogs are kept to see the vet.
